It's finally time... MAGIC THE GATHERING X THE HOBBIT PRERELEASE IS JUST A MONTH AWAY! This set has been highly anticipated, and we absolutely cannot wait to host you all for another awesome prerelease weekend. Please join us the weekend of August 7-9 as we venture towards the Lonely Mountain... may we find its heart and have some wonderful pulls along the way!
We will be hosting prerelease events on our typical schedule of 2PM and 6PM Friday, 1PM and 6PM Saturday, and 1PM Sunday. However, we have a very fun twist especially for this set... WE WILL BE HOSTING A MIDNIGHT PRERELEASE! Come be the VERY FIRST to experience this set at 12AM sharp on Friday 8/7 (the time just following 11:59PM Thursday, to be safe) and enjoy awesome games, music from the franchise, cosplay, and even some extra special giveaways!
As usual, all of our prerelease events will be pack-per-win, but we're throwing in a few more goodies just since we're oh-so-excited— If you play in two or more events, you'll get your choice of a gorgeous Hobbit spindown die in the color of your choice while supplies last! These aren't your typical prerelease dice, but instead ones we ordered special just for the occasion.
Our next prerelease freebie will be done in the form of a costume contest! All players who show up in a franchise-specific costume (must be more than "I'm background Hobbit #33 from Bilbo's 111th birthday party) will get a free Hobbit play booster pack. We can't wait to see what you come up with!
Finally, we'll be throwing in some more special giveaways throughout the weekend that we will be detailing later... these may include (but are not limited to!) packs, accessories, or even entry into another event! We'll provide more info as the date gets closer, but we cannot wait to host you all for what's sure to be an INCREDIBLE event. This set is guaranteed to be a hit so please do not hesitate to register in advance.
